Mecha Mounting Locking Mechanism
An item consisting of a worm gear which mesh with two worm pinions. They are inclosed in a housing which is fixed on a housing electrical/electronic equipment. They mate with two rack gears fixed on a rack, structural, aircraft equipment. When the worm gear is actuated by means of a handwheel, its spiral teeth mesh with the pinions teeth which engage with the rack gears teeth allowing the equipment to move in a straight line motion in slides fixed on the rack and on the housing equipment.
